Rose de Mai: Rosa x centifolia. A hybrid rose developed sometime during the 17th to 19th centuries. Known also as the Provence rose, cabbage rose or the centifolia (hundred leaves), it was a very popular ornamental rose in Regency and Georgian gardens. The flowers are also cultivated for their exceptional fragrance and harvested to create rose oils prized in perfumery.
A warm based rosy-pink blush with a cool-toned rosy pink shimmer. The hint of shimmer gives a wonderful natural glow.
