Description

Sugar Maple. Acer saccharum. The sugar maple is best known for its primary product: maple syrup. A tall, deciduous tree, they are most commonly found in eastern Canada and the United States. In the Northeast, they are tapped in February and March when their sap begins to run in order to create the sweet treat. In the fall, though, their leaves turn a dramatic deep red, like in the flag of Canada.

A matte loose pigment blush reminiscent of and inspired by the leaves of a maple in the fall. A deep autumnal red that leans a bit cool.
