Delicious! Warm, smooth, rich and comforting, most noticeable to me is the almond and coffee notes, but sweet and caramelised with just enough bitterness to cut through. I want to drink this perfume, but also bathe in it. I want to smell this way everyday forever. Feels like coming in from the cold to a cosy coffee shop. The perfume lasts well too - I’ve been sniffing my wrists all day.

The bottle is absolutely gorgeous and sturdy enough to feel safe chucked in my handbag, and I love the feel of the cold rollerball.

Karen was so kind and helpful to me as well! Appreciate everything about this shop.

Muad'Dib! Absolutely stunning, my favourite perfume oil! Strong warm/sweet Spices, incense and a subtle sweet almond base. I'm a sucker for a sweet/spicy gourmand. The spice must flow..

perfect layering oil for gourmand lovers

I am an absolute lover of gourmands, I just want to smell edible all the time- and I have found the perfect perfume oil to layer with everything.

Firstly, this on its own is beautiful, I really really love coffee scents and I think this one does an amazing job of not smelling like certain coffee scents which almost have a bitter/filter coffee watered quality. This one I'd say smells very warm, probably attributed to those spicy notes.

It's just yummy, definitely more of a scent in the colder months for most people, I think because it does have that element of cinnamon/nutmeg/almond coffee. It's a lovely warm and comforting fragrance which is right up my gourmand-loving alley.

In summer I've been layering it with the sol de Janeiro bum bum cream underneath, which I think just brings an element of pistachio/salted caramel/vanilla, in a lighter way that works with the more nutty notes in this oil too. Layering it changes the image it evokes from a desert with a coffee to a solitude beach-y coffee almost.

Also, that black storax is beautiful! Never smelled it before this but it adds so much depth to this fragrance.

Spicy

Heavy on the spices with a bit of coffee bitterness underneath. Very cosy for the colder months, and I don't think I'll be giving it up for spring either!
