Fenix

In September, several high magnitude earthquakes rocked the country of Mexico. They flattened entire towns and destroyed large parts of Mexico City.  In its wake, more than half of the country declared a state of emergency.  The death toll is in the hundreds, and the number left homeless is still in the thousands even a month later. 

This eyeshadow shade is the first in our Social series - a colour released every season to benefit a particular issue.  This shade is dedicated to the rebuilding effort in Mexico. Proceeds from the sales until November 30th will be donated to Construyendo, a local organization dedicated to the building and improvement of Mexico, who are currently on the ground helping to rebuild in Mexico. If you do not wish to purchase this shade, please do consider making a small donation to the cause.

The shade is called Fenix after the Spanish word for Phoenix, a powerful symbol of rebirth. The Shade is a warm vibrant pink with a strong golden shift, inspired by the Mexican national flower, the Dahlia pinnata. 

It will be available only as a half size for £3.50. It is slightly more expensive in order to increase proceeds to donate to the organization.  There will be no limit on the number sold, however.
