I have had a few scents in a discovery set since January (currently July). Before the fragrance review, wanted to say that upon discovering there was a slight delay in the fragrances (because I put a wrong address so no fault of the brand), the owner of this brand was so quick to remedy it, providing tracked mail as soon as possible and I literally got it as soon as. Plus the person I was interacting with was so incredibly sweet. So before any of that, customer service was amazing and so quick to respond! Genuinely it was my own fault as well but they were so sweet.
On the fragrance, I'm a very particular person when it comes to floral fragrances. I don't like them too sweet, too gaudy, or too in-your-face. But this fragrance oil is so beautiful and changed my mind on floral fragrances!
For some reason it evoked the image of a woman dreaming of an escape to her night gardens, with those gardens filled with her beautiful blooms. There's the comforting notes of basil and the warmth of the amber(which is more floral amber), cushioning these beautiful white florals.
The floral notes of gardenia, jasmine, and ylang ylang are complex and nuanced, with just a hint of sweetness. And then the amber and white musk ground the fragrance and give it a touch of warmth (this makes it feel like a warm night/a dream, it's so comforting with this floral forward scent that is still very complex)
I love how this fragrance is both fresh and green, but it's still floral forward. It's not gaudy, but it's still noticeable. I've used it in office settings (I can and WILL wear anything to the office mind, but I'll say this is a lovely complex feminine scent and I've worn it to work).
I love layering this with an aquatic perfume too like the Jo Malone X Zara's Venice. It just makes me feel like the garden was rained on, it's beautiful!
Genuinely, I'm obsessed with this fragrance oil. It's changed my mind about florals. It's complex, nuanced, and fresh, but it's still floral forward.
