Lovely notes but a confusing blend

I really wanted to love this. The citrus notes are really bright, and the incense is lovely, but somehow I'm always just smelling one set of notes or the other, and they don't seem to form a cohesive scent to me. When I catch a whiff of it it's sometimes pure citrus, sometimes pure incense, barely any spice. Very strange, and maybe just me - not sure what's going on there.
